Open Question: can i connect a satchwell tlx 2203 room thermostat to ecoplus 831 combi?the satchwell is 220-240 volts the central heating combination boiler is a vaillant ecoplus 831. thankyou Open Question: Why is the hot water keep stopping? Air?Hi, i recently had probs with an installed shower pump and was recomended to change the layout and put in a non return valve in after the outlet hose. I did all this and pump worked brilliant last night, good pressure and pump was turning off on stopping bath/showertap. The water apparently later on started to splutter and then stopped coming out of tap completely (pump wasn't switching on at all so obviously no flow coming through). On looking this morning I tried the flushing cold water back up the hot pipes to flush out any air lock and only got a dribble of hot before it stopped again. I realised the non return valve would prevent any air lock from being dispersed into vent. So I removed top connection from NR valve and let water flow into a bucket before reattaching. The water then came through tap fine with pump working. But on turning tap off and then on again, water stopped??? I removed the non return valve and reconnected with a normal straight coupler. Hey presto, everything is working fine again, turn taps on and off.. all ok and pump running fine??? Why was this happening? How was the NR valve causing the water flow to stop (and YES it was the right way round and had been working fine last before late last night). More Recent Articles |
