Open Question: Can I put pregrooved siding with the grooves running horizontal, on my shed?

I want the siding of the shed to look similar to the house.... Most sheds I see have the grooves going up and down, and I get that's best for water run off... however, Id LIKE to have my grooves running horizontal, and wonder how likely it will be that I'll have water damage from the grooves. The grooves are not deep at all, and the 4x8 pieces were fairly expensive, so I'm sure I've got good siding... it's primed and ready for paint. i wondered if i ran a bead of caulk and just rubbed my figure down into the groove if that would help seal it better and prevent any kind of water damage. I KNOW the preferred method is Verticale... however my little 6x8 shed would look much better if it matches the house as close a possible. Any suggestions welcome... thought about vinyl siding but there isn't a way I can afford all that. will I be ok if i paint with good quality paint.. would that seal those indentions?

Open Question: Closet handle height?

I just got a few new wardrobes for my room. My parents and I are unsure at what height we should have the handles. What is the usual height for a handle or door knob? THANKS! BTW, I got the wardrobes from IKEA. If that is useful info.

Open Question: When and how to tile under the refrigerator?

We are laying 18 x 18 porcelain tiles in our kitchen for an open house we're having in 6 days. We can't figure out when and how to tile under the refrigerator. Do we have to move the refrigerator into another room? Can we wait two days for the mortar and grout to set firm and move the refrigerator onto the newly installed tile so we can lay tile where refrigerator will go? If we do that, should we then wait 24 hours for that tile to set so we can move the refrigerator back into place? What is the best way to handle the installation? I would appreciate any thoughts on how this is most ideally done.
