Open Question: Can you return a screwdriver and wire cutters to Home Depot or Lowe's?

I'm in a position where I need a screw driver and simple wire cutters for a short duration. I'm not at home and don't have my tools with me, and I don't know anyone in the area who I could borrow them from. Since I only need them for a short while to replace the strings on my guitar, I was thinking about buying them from Lowe's or Home Depot, fixing my guitar, and returning them right away. Can anyone confirm that they will allow me to return them? Thanks! I'm looking for facts, please try to keeps your opinions regarding moral nature to your selves for I do not care about them. There are other places on the internet where you can voice your opinions and people can pretend to care. Yahoo Answers is not one of those places.

Open Question: Will a portable generator run a arc welder?

Looking at a 6000 watt portable generator. Trying to figure out if it will be able to run an arc welder. Looked around on the internet some at arc welders and most a variable amperage. Now I'm pretty sure volts x amps = watts so if a welder has a output range of 30 to 125 amps and seems to be able to draw on either 120 or 240 volt power does that mean that the draw range is 3600 watts to 30,000 watts, and if this is the case how much could I reasonably expect to be able to weld while limiting my self to about 6kw's? Thanks

Open Question: Can you hang fabric on a textured wall?

I'm moving to a new house on base and they have lovingly places some sort of texture on all of the walls. (I'm not sure what it is, I haven't seen it in person. A Command strip will not even stick to the wall.) My question is, using the starch method, can I hang fabric over this type of wall? Will it stay like on a normal wall?
