Open Question: Help! I need a solution for a problem with our shower.?

We bought a new house. The shower/tub combo are built into the eaves which makes the ceiling slanted--with not much head room. The ceiling is painted and gets soaked with each shower taken. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what we could use to protect the ceiling? We plan to install a new surround on the walls, but we're stumped as to a solution for the ceiling. Thanks in advance.

Open Question: IS there a way I can fix my door?

I have 2 doors in my house that don't latch, I think it means when the door can close but the doorknob's lock bar doesn't "click" inside the hole in the wall, it doesn't reach it. Is there any way I can fix this by myself?

Open Question: is it ok to to tile around Drop-in tub after it has already been installed?

...or are the tiles supposed to sit underneath the tub? Also, does anyone have a good technique of creating non noticeable access panels for the shut off valves? Thanks!
