Open Question: Help with making a prop, please? and more... Open Question: Help with making a prop, please?Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a prop I'm making; I have to make a scythe for a costume I'm making. The blade (Made out of cardboard) is very big and has a bit of a complicated design. Since it's fairly big, we're not sure how to get the blade attached to the staff it will be held on. The people have had ideas like using super glue, which we don't think would keep it on very well, and duck tape, which we definitely don't want to use because it wouldn't look very professional. We've also had the idea of cutting two of the same pieces out and putting the staff through the middle, but we don't want to do that because we've already cut out many cardboard pieces, and frankly it hurts to pick up normal things like pencils. Help would be appreciated greatly. Open Question: Can I please go to the bathroom!?Open Question: How to make a contraption to close my door from my bed?I've done extensive googling on this and have come up with nothing. How can I make some sort of system of string and hooks (preferably nothing else permanent, like nails, etc.) that will allow me to close my bedroom door from my bed, across the room? I'm sick of having to get up when my nosy parents or cats come into my room at night. I will award a best answer! More Recent Articles
