Open Question: How can I create water pressure? and more... Open Question: How can I create water pressure?I recently bought a powerful pressure washer that puts out 17 liters a minute. Therefore it needs to be supplied by water from the water source at 17 liters per minute (I assume?). The domestic water coming to the tap only produces 6 liters a minute so i got a large barrel and put a tap at the bottom of it and filled it up, but that only produced 10 liters a minute. If i double the size of the barrel will that double the pressure? And has anyone any other ideas to get the required pressure? Open Question: One cold radiator,that gets hot cools down then gets stone cold and fails to get hot again?I have one rad in the living room that gets hot when the heating is first switched on.It then cools down as you would expect BUT it does not get hot again,it just gets stone cold and will not get hot again until I manually turn up the TRV to the next setting and its the same all over again! I have 7 rads on the system. 1. I had a new boiler installed just 18 months ago. 2. I have changed the TRV. 3. It was flushed out when the boiler was installed. 4. I changed the rad yesterday. 5. Every other rad seems to be working fine. BUT ITS STILL THE SAME!!!!! Any help would be appreciated. Does the system need balancing? More Recent Articles
