Open Question: How can I quickly fix a roof gutter where too gutters join in the center but water still seeps down the center? The gutter has enough angle both ways for water to poor down to the downspouts, but the center point has seepage problem. Its not one solo gutter. Will aluminum tape or some type of caulking solve or temporary fix this problem? A massive snow storm has caused ice damns to form but its all melting away. The problem is the union of two gutters in the center where water is dripping through down the front of the house. Open Question: How can I inexpensively save my 1900 upright Hamiliton from further cracking without refinishing it now?I can't afford to pay $3,000 to refinish it and I was told I couldn't oil it if I wanted to refinish it in the future. I don't want to paint over the finish. Any ideas on how to keep it from cracking more? There are only small cracks at this point. Can I oil it or treat it somehow inexpensively and I can do it myself without ruining it for future refinishing? More Recent Articles
