Open Question: How do I soundproof my basement? and more... Open Question: How do I soundproof my basement?Open Question: can i cut into concerate flooring to lay water and gas pipes in a 1st floor flat?i want to move my kitchen but not sure if you can cut into concerate flooring when there's another flat below? Open Question: How do I turn on the power to an individual electrical outlet?I am living in a house with an unfinished basement that has almost all of the electrical outlets hooked up. In said basement is a partially unfinished bathroom, which has a light switch as well as wires for a power outlet, but while the light actually works, when I hooked up an outlet to the other wires, there is no power. I know for sure that I have the outlet hooked up correctly, and have tested the wires for power, and there is none. The electrician used a yellow wire for that particular box, so it is easy enough to follow up into the ceiling, but where does it go from there? All the breakers are on, and electricity works everywhere else, just not that one set of wires. How do I turn power on to them? So does each set of wires in the house run to the breaker box? My breaker box is located on the outside of my house. Assuming that the wire runs all the way to where it needs to go, but is simply not hooked up, does the whole box need to be pulled off to wire in this one individual outlet, or is there a simpler way? Open Question: Dish-washer help please.?After all of my my cycles run I still have a pool of water at the bottom of my dish washer. I called a handyman to help, he didn't fix the problem and it cost me a lot of money. He just told me to keep running it. I have ran it three times it still doesn't help Any solution or cause of the problem would help.
