Open Question: I installed seymour duncan blackouts 7 and no sound is coming out.?the guitar's volume is all the way up i followed the instruction clearly the battery is plugged in and it a 1 volume 1 tone 3-way switch Open Question: Can you buy just 2-3 cabinet doors?I have built-ins in my house that were built by the previous owner and he installed stock cabinet doors that are too small and they look really bad. I think I can remedy this by using bigger doors, new hardware and paint (he stained it badly too), and a bit of trim. But I'm not sure where to even go to get just a couple of cabinet doors. Home Depot and Lowes only had big sets and full cabinets, not individual doors. I was told there was an option to buy individual replacement doors from the companies but they're like $50-80 per door and you have to order them according to the size of the cabinet, not the size of the door, so basically that won't work. A relative lives down the road from an Amish guy who does really great woodworking for very reasonable prices, but he obviously has no phone and so I would just have to go see if I can find him. It's also over an hour away and I don't know the next time I can get up there. It's an option if I can't find anything else but not the most convenient one. Any ideas? Open Question: Has anyone ever installed laminate counters?I'm considering installing new laminate sheeting on my kitchen and bathroom counters. The have dusty rose laminate on them and I want to just put a new sheet on top of the existing sheet. There is no curved edge so it doesn't seem too tricky. And we have enough money to pay someone to fix it in case I screw it up royally, lol. I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried it before and/or has any advice. Open Question: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FURNITURE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?My aunt has an 18 year old Thomas Kinkade armoire that is no longer being made. I set a glass on top of it, not thinking, for maybe a minute and then moved it but now there is a ring on the armoire. It's not the type of ring that you see on normal furniture. it looks like a smudge that won't come off. Does anyone know how to get this permanent smudge off before my aunt sees it??? I tried just wiping it with a wet rag...didn't work. I've furniture polished it....doesn't work. It just looks like a ring smudge!!! PLEASE do you have any tips on how to get this off? My dad suggested I lightly sand it off - which I tried, but now there is a scratch!!! The scratch looks very small. Like when you write too hard on a sheet of paper and the paper that was underneath it has those little scribble scratches on it from where you pressed too hard with a pencil. It's like that. WHAT CAN I DO? I need to remove the smudge looking ring spot and the scratch? Her husband scratched it once adn she said there is no way to fix scratches on this type of thing but if there is a fix, PLEAS LET ME KNOW!!!! She will kill me. And it was truly, TRULY and accident! PLEASE ANYONE HELP!!! More Recent Articles
