Open Question: I'm planning for a new wood handrail and banister. Any advice is appreciated.?

I understand this is a detailed finished carpentry task, but let's assume I have the manual skills to do such and just need a little guidance. I've decided to go with a wooden rail/spindle setup and I'm going to use a shoe rail instead of installing right on the stair treads (is there a compelling argument one way or the other?) Can anyone offer any tips on getting the hand/shoe rail perfectly aligned so the spindles are properly plumb? Also, what is the best method for securing the shoe rail? I've read some people glue and toenail, but other insist that isn't good enough, but don't tell specifics on what is best.

Open Question: How do I get more bubbles out of my bubble bath?

I have used a few different types of bubble bath liquids and I have noticed that unless I am using a bath tub with a jet, which I do not have at my own home, I hardly get any bubbles even if I pour half the bottle into my bath. Are there any tips to getting more bubbles into your bath?

Open Question: Would there be any code problems associated with installing my gas meter near the electrical meter?

I would like to consolidate all of my utilities to one area of my home for cosmetic reasons. I would like to have the electrical meter and the gas meter (and ac compressor, the phone demarc and the cable demarc all share the same area, maybe 4 feet by 10 feet. The alcove would have a roof at about 8 feet and three sides would be concrete siding. The fourth side would be open air with maybe a removable lattice fence or something. Does anyone know of any code violations or regulations regarding placing demarcs so close together.... Thanks for any assistance
