Open Question: 4 foot wood fence, what to use for pickets?

I thought they would sell the individual 4 foot dogeared pickets, but all I can find is 6 foot. I want something weather resistent obviously. what should I buy for my 4 foot pickets?? any ideas?

Open Question: Burned Wool Carpet Help?

I am almost 14 years old and i am home alone and i was playing around with my lighter and i accidentally set a Kleenex on fire and i panicked and threw it on the floor and now i have a burn mark on my carpet. I tried using some carpet cleaner and it helped only a bit to lighten it up but should I use something more powerful such as steel wool? my carpet is also wool made so does anyone have any ideas??? i don't want any lectures saying how i shouldn't play with lighters or why i have one please stay direct with the question!
