I made a rifle stock out of pinewood. Problem is, I want it to be coated with a durable layer. Singapore is hard to find carbon fibre or fibre glass. Is silicon sealant okay? The tube wrote that it is suitable as a coating for painting.

Open Question: How to measure an Aluminum Awning for replacement?

I have a family member that has an aluminum awning that was damaged by weight of snow. To replace it they were told to provide the linear feet, NOT square footage. Does she need to measure the full perimeter (all four sides?)

Open Question: Are copper pipes bad for drinking water?

e.g. do they add copper to the water or do they rust ? The workers are starting in like 12 hours (fixing the pipes in my sisters house) Any pros. or cons. would be great Thanks in advance
