Open Question: Would it be fine to install laminte flooring in a hot room?The room is in the basement where in the summer it can be pretty cold (window air conditioner present) but in the winter the room itself gets pretty hot (pipes run through the room from the water heater about 40 feet away) the room is raised about about a foot from the cement basement floor. the basement does get moisture but if i were to install the sound and moisture pads before the floor itself would that be fine? Open Question: How could I do this.....?Ive been watching a lot of zombie movies lately, and it really got me thinking, if by some small chance that zombies ever attacked, wtf would i do? Anyways, my plan would be to destroy our staircase and stay upstairs since zombies apparently cant climb. How do you destroy a staircase though? Open Question: How do you make a bar of soap using everyday materials?Open Question: Why is my boiler making a creaking/knocking noise after every time I use the shower?I have a combi boiler upstairs and the shower is downstairs - recently, after every shower, the boiler starts making a creaking/knocking sound. I think it might be in the pipes coming from the boiler but cant be sure - it sounds as though a woodpecker is stuck in the pipe or something! It can go on for up to an hour after the shower but I've found that if I run the hot tap in the upstairs toilet for a few mins - it stops the noise, but I've ngot no idea why or how this works. Any ideas please - I'm worried theres a problem with the boiler and its going to explode or something - and its right next to my daughters bedroom. Thanks! More Recent Articles |
