My husband and I live in a house that is around 70 ys old and has seen a lot of neglect in the last 15. My husband ripped up the wall to wall carpet when he moved in about 6 yrs ago. The hardwood floors aren't in horrible shape, but they need refinished in our living room and dining room. We are pretty clueless about stuff like this and have no idea what we are getting into. We also work fulltime jobs and have a toddler. This would be a weekend project. Also just out of curiosity, there are companies that we could hire to do this, right? We live in a very small town and we'd have to find someone in a bigger city to come. I wonder what the cost of that would be. Anyone know?
