Open Question: What do you do with your wine corks?Open Question: Electric heating in home (Repost)?I have all electric heat in my house. It is of the old variety; for example, each room has its own thermostat that you can set a tempurature using a knob that turns up or down, but doesn't show you what the current tempurature is. In my hallway, there is a a vent thing up near the ceiling and there is a strange buzzing sound. Also, my doorbell rang a couple times yesterday though no one pushed the buttons, there would be feetprints in the snow and we could see that no one came, so I think it's electrical. I rent, but my house is currently in a serious state of dissaray and my landlord refuses to do a lease because if she doesnt like you or how you keep house she can evict you- also, I have cheated and smopked a couple cigatettes in there because I was too sick to go outside - immediate term for eviction. Does the buzzing mean something serious like an electrical short that is going to burn down the house or can it wait a week or two until I regain my health and can get my house back together? Any advice would be appreciated. I am building an outside toilet are to be encased in a porch. I want the water to be totally solar heated and might want use underfloor heating from the same source. Forgot to say I am UK based Open Question: Where can I get fiberglass rods?I need to get some fiberglass rods 9-12 mm (around 1/3 to 1/2 in) in diameter and around 6ft tall. I want to get it from a store, but I'm not sure where to go. I live in Miami, Fl if anyone has any ideas. So far the Home Depot and Lowes do not have it. If there is anything you can think of that is also made from fiberglass that I could purchase that has the same specifications that would be great. Thanks! More Recent Articles
