I plan on walking everyday to begin with. Does anyone have any plans that have worked for them? Open Question: What is likely to be the problem when a gas furnace lights well but turns on and off without a steady flame?It is producing heat and works well with the digital thermostat commands. The burners are clean and the furnace filter is brand new and clean as well. Yes gas is reaching it with no problem. There is a little spark that sounds every 30 seconds or so, but the flames all light up well , the problem is that they don't stay constantly on, but turn on and off with only one flame lit barely. This process continues until the temperature above reaches desired level and then stops. Do you recommend I replace the thermocouple? or diagnose it further? Any suggestions? To clearify, yes it lights up well one and then all burners, then flames reduce and die off, and then come all back on in a few seconds, and so on and so forth until the house gets heated to the desired level. There is an intermitted spark sound and the flames die off with only one lit barely and then all flames turn on the cycle continues. Open Question: How can I install a new thermostat into my Viking range?I have a Viking Electric Self-Clean Range -- VESC3064BSS. Based on a previous Q&A I do believe I need a new thermostat. A Viking parts supplier told me I can get a new one for about $100. But I don't know how to install it. I don't even know where the thermostat is located in my oven. How can I install this thermostat, if I order it and have it shipped to me? Any help or suggestions would be deeply appreciated.
