Open Question: does anyone no any thing about vintage Mobile homes ?i am interested in buying a old park stile trailer home, i would like to find one that was well build, i really only want to find as small of one as possible, one with a bed, bath room, and kitchen, i am pretty handy so i think i could do allot of the repairs myself, any info ? any good web sights ? i think these old trailer homes are pretty cool. thanks Open Question: building rnovation and extention?i have an exam and im stuck on a question this is the question im stuck on you need to support the walls and floors in order to install four 2.3m long rolled steel joists and for 1.8m opening in extincting wall between the original property and the kitchen Extension plan and detail the operations requierd but all i really need to know is how would i install the RSJ'S Open Question: im looking for a device that makes a high pitch noise to screw in a light fixture?we hav one that is called (buzz bulb) that does but the price is so high now from when i bout b4 does anyon e know where i can find cheaper and more selction they run bout $30 ty for ur help Open Question: is their any website you could learn to fix LED lights?Open Question: I need to lower a 200 kg glass table top through my basement window, will ropes and pulleys be enough?I have twisty narrow basement stairs so it wont fit down them, and i am fed up with eating off my lap! I have railings outside my house with the doorway to the basement underneath (with no stairs leading down). There is about a metres gap between the basement wall and my house, and including the railings, the drop is about 4-5 metres. The table top is strengthened glass, and takes four men to move it with difficulty. I am reluctant to hire a mini crane to lower it, as it costs £350, and i thought that if i secure it properly, i could have two ropes going through my front room window (ground flor) , and two ropes over the side of the basement rails then four people could gently lower it until it reaches the bottom (onto a single matress that has strong boxes underneath it). Would pulleys make it safer and easier? If so, how? Where should i put them? Or should i just get a crane? PLEASE DON'T TELL ME TO SELL IT, ITS MY DREAM TABLE, AND I LOVE IT! These show up along the ceiling in a back bedroom. I was told that some species are pests that destroy wood, and some are harmless.
