Open Question: help me with dishwashers again?

Two people replied last night saying I could run dishwasher pipes under the floor. Can anyone clarify whether I could do this using extensions or if I would need to add in new waste pipes and trap. Due to height and space in kitchen extensions would be easier. If possible the cold water running under the floor and waste running at sloping gradient behind units til it reached waste pipe. That i know but what I am asking is can I use extension to run 4m to waste pipe.
