Open Question: anti arson letter box lock?i am after a lock (or bag) for my letterbox flap on the inside of my door to protect my home from arson... i am VERY security concious and perhaps even paranoid.. i know that these locks exist.. just where can i buy one from any help is much appreciated Open Question: how to keep water inside the shower?My mobile home has 2 showers in it, one is a nice garden tub which works fine, but the other is a cheap, dinky little thing that only has about a 2 inch lip between the inside of the shower and the outside. All that keeps the water inside the tub (It doesn't have a glass door or anything like that) is a shower curtain, and I was wondering if there was any way to keep the water in the tub (short of taking baths instead of showers or buying a new-larger tub). Basically the problem is that no matter what I've tried the water tends to escape from the tub on either end onto the floor and on the sheetrock walls which will eventually cause more damage as we will be using that tub a lot more here soon. I've got some "tub and wall sealer trim" which is probably meant for being used inside the tub, but I'm going to try it on the outside to prevent the water from going in at the joint of the floor and wall. Any suggestions? Open Question: Need advice on finishing a basement?House is three years old, basement walls are 9' poured concrete, with the rear wall entirely exposed (above ground). We have had no problems with moisture, even in very rainy periods. What is the best way for me to start finishing the inside of the exterior walls? Wood studs vs. Metal? Spray foam insulation or a combination of extruded polystyrene and fiberglass?
