Open Question: How can I make my semi-rough finished concrete slick? and more... Open Question: How can I make my semi-rough finished concrete slick?I had a concrete slab poured for a dog pen but the contractor did not make the finish slick as I requested. I think there is a product that can be applied to the surface to smooth it but I don't know what it is called. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Open Question: Removing a tiny screw from furniture label?I have a label underneath a dinning table. It is connected to the table with very tiny scews. I want to remove the label without damaging it. Would a screw extrator work or is there a very tiny drill? Open Question: How Can I Loosen a Rusted Pipe-Cutter Wheel?I recently bought a pair of used pipe-cutters off eBay for a nice price. These are the screw-on type of pipe cutters, not ratcheting plier types or whatnot. They arrived in great condition, except one of the wheels on one of the cutters is rusted and won't spin. It is NOT the cutting wheel, rather one of the opposing wheels. Is there a product I can use to loosen/lubricate the rusted wheel so that it will spin freely again? I'm a bit concerned about smothering the thing in messy oily stuff, as these will be used to cut plastic tubing and I'm not sure that I want to get it all over the tubing. And obviously it would need to at least be a plastic safe product. Appreciate any advice, thank you. I just want to add that I was fully expecting the WD-40 answer, I'm just not sure about the mess and getting it all over everything I cut. These are being used more for "crafty" projects. Things I cut will need to also be clean and readily take to adhesives. Is it something I shouldn't worry about? Thanks. Open Question: I was wondering if there is anything i can do to make my 7 ply maple wood more flexible.?Open Question: Hot water doesn't last long, only about 5-10 minutes then it gets cold very fast?I have a tankless hot water heater. Is there something I can adjust on the furnace? the flow valve, the mixing valve or the temp of the water? It's an oil fired furnace. I can't afford a plumber. Please help me.
