Open Question: How do I install a new outlet by connecting it to the outlet on the?same wall, but in the next room over? I know the simple directions (lining it up, finding the stud, cutting the drywall, etc.) but what do I do from there? And should I get an electric box that attaches to the stud, or the kind that can stand alone in the drywall? Open Question: Is our toilet leaking? Or did my 13 year old loose his aiming abilities?!?I have noticed that there is a slow leak coming from the bottom of our toilet, where it is attached to the floor. Is this an easy fix? At first I thought it was my teenager just not "paying attention". But, I was cleaning the bathroom today, and cleaning around the floor behind and around the toilet, and I noticed the leak after I cleaned the floor around it. Open Question: While cleaning under my kitchen sink, I noticed the pvc isn't even connected to the sink drain.?I can almost twist the "washer" back onto the threads on the sink, but I can't get it lined up. Is this because maybe glue has dried inside the threads. Do I need to buy a new one, or the whole elbow part. Should I take the piece to the parts store, or are they all standard size, is that pvc glued, do I rip it apart to take with me, and do I need to use plumbing cement when I put a new one on? Obviously, I'm a lost ball in high weeds on this one. Thanks for your help. Ginger More Recent Articles
