I want to build my own les paul guitar, but I have a problem. I want the body to have that nice flame top that true les pauls do but I dont know what type of wood I should use. Does anyone know what type of wood les pauls are made of that gives them that awesome flame top.

Open Question: What can I use to hang heavy paintings on a wall? The wall is so thick can not drill?

We just moved into our apartment and have many paintings and a heavy mirror, only problem the walls are thick, like concrete or something, we tried drilling but took forever plus we would be responsible for holes when we move out. We need like an adhesive that can hold like 10lbs or more. Any suggestions?
