Open Question: Is using a corgi or gas safety engineer for fitting my gas cooker neccessary?I am about to buy an fsd cooker. I know legally you need to get a safety engineer to do it however in practice is it not just a case of the thing like a light bulb? I done it with another cooker or do tese fsd cookers have other things on them which require looking at? Open Question: Correct cable size for a 9.5 electric shower?Open Question: how does the white rodgers thermostat type IE30-910 work? i think mine is broken and i want to fix it.?My heat quit working, so i checked my furnace. The pilot light is still burning fine so i checked the thermostat. The mercury is moved to cut the system on, but it does not spark and I think i see where a connection may be broke. i used a piece of aluminum foil to make the connection to see if that was it, but that did not work either. So now i don't know if there is something else i can do or what. The connection i am refering to is at the end of the mercury. There are three prongs sticking out of the glass and wires are connecting the bottom two prongs. Open Question: Is there a way of attaching plastic to aluminium temporarily, so that it leaves no marks on the metal after?Basically, we have a bus that needs advertisement attaching to it, but the bus is being borrowed, so the bus cannot be damaged in anyway by anything sticky, or hammered into it etc. It is a special bus that is used specifically for advertising. The 'boards' are of A0 size, and the surface to be attached to is basically a big metal panel! Open Question: I just saw the ring tape....what should I do?I'm scared.
