Open Question: What do you HATE.....?Open Question: is carpet tile a good alternative?I have about 600sqft I need to redo. Cost is the main factor. Are Carpet Tile that I can install myself a good option? It's for a living room and bedroom. I want something that will last a while...I know this is a cheap product so I'm not expecting 50 years out of it. But I do want quality. HD has some listed as low at 99cents/sqft. I would like honest opinions or alternatives..thanks! Open Question: How do you melt hot glue when its hard as a rock?Me and my friend Eric broke a little piece off a guitar and we are trying to fix it and the hot glue we have is hard as rock! What should we do? Open Question: what to do with sagging popcorn ceiling? My brother did my house 15 yrs ago..it was an old house when he bought it. The living room ceilings had wall paper on them. My brother had the ceiling popcorned. Guess what is now happening. The wall paper seems are coming loose and with it the weight of the popcorn is very loose and sagging throughout the living room. I am guessing eventually it will completely fall. I am not very handy..i do not want to have it pop corned over because it will make a mess and i will wind up with the same problem. The estimates i have gotten to just sheet rock my ceiling is out of my budget..it is an extremely small area and the estimates are in the 4000 dollar range. What other options do i have? By chance it falls ..please no sarcastic answers..i have animals will they get hurt?..it doesn't seem very heavy at all. Thank you! There is no sheet rock under the ceiling,,it was an old plaster ceiling..the house is probably close to 100 years old and the people had wallpapered over the plaster..my brother popcorned over the wall paper.
