I rent the home so can't make permanent changes... The basement has some power but not enough.. I am wondering if I can use one of those convenience cords sold for generators that has a 240v male plug in my dryer outlet that has 2 110v female outlets on the other end to supplement my shop... i already unplug my dryer to plug in an extra oven at the holidays.. want to do the same for my shop... ?? Open Question: Barn building Help!![[Kinda long]]?Well my mother and step dad have recently bought 7 acer's of land with a home already on it. Its a small home which leaves us with all the rest of the land. We really really want to build a barn so that I can have my horse there instead of boarding out in a different town. We are located In southern Ohio.Where the land is usually hilly but here its flat! Which is another great thing; My friend will be boarding her horse here with us. We Want to buy another horse so we were thinking a 5 stall barn. We want to build A Outdoor arena, Pasture, Barn and indoor arena. We don't know how small or large to build these. So there is one problem. Measurements. My step dad is a construction worker and his friends are willing to help us build for no money at all [Amazing friends he has arn't they!(: ] So money IS NOT an issue. We have all the designs for the stalls and everything so that is out of the way. But another thing is we dont know whether the indoor arena should be attached to the barn. HELP!(: Also My mother and step dad also ride. ***SORRY ABOUT THE HORRIBLE SPELLING!**** So 2 questions. What are some good measurements for the barn. and Should the indoor arena be attached to the barn. any other inputs about this would be amazing! THANK YOU!![: More Recent Articles
