Is that possible? What material would be ideal? Would plywood crack? I plan to do Zumba (dancing workout), which is pretty much impossible on carpet.

Open Question: How should I paint my sons toy box?

I am expecting my first child/son this summer. I want to paint my old toy box for him. It is stained right now. I thought of sanding it down, but the stain is deep in the grain. Could I paint it with a latex flat paint then polyurthane over that so that the paint does not chip?...
