Open Question: What is a good automatic fire suppressant system for a small area?I just started setting up an Iguana cage and he has a heat lamp. I spend about 8-10 hours a day at work, so leaving the heat lamp on (which he needs) worries me a bit. The iguana likes to climb on things and get as close to the light as possible, so I'm afraid he will knock it down, or the clamp will fail and it will fall on its own. Any good/cheap fire suppressant systems? The house does not have a sprinkler system and it is not near any water pipes in the wall so it would need to be standalone. Thanks! Open Question: Anybody ever heard of an electrically heated hearth?I would like a raised stove hearth that is heated so that it is warm to sit on. Has anybody ever heard of this? Could you use the electric in-floor heating system sometimes used in bathroom floors for this purpose?
