Open Question: Gorilla super Glue strength?? i need to know if its right for the job?

I have a piece of plastic in an airsoft gun that broke in half. I am planning on super gluing the pieces back together, the only problem is that it is going to have to take continous pressure because it is going to need to pull down a pretty thick spring. Do you think that gorilla super glue is right for the job? why or why not? Remember the surface is a plastic type.
