Open Question: Where can i get a relay to suit these requirements?

I have a rather anoying lodger who insists on leaving the central heating on constantly, whether he is in his bed or away out for hours on end because he is 'cold'. Needless to say he doesn't contribute towards the bills. I need to remedy this issue by removing the current digital timer on/off control with a time delay switch activating the heating for two hours at a time before cutting off. The new switch is a standard 3 wire 230v lighting control unit. Downside is the heating system activates on a 0v normally open circuit so i need a relay with a 230v input/coil rating and a 0v N/O output. I don't know if i need an AC or a DC input relay. I'm in a UK household so could someone please clarify and also tell me where i could obtain such a device. I would have thought they would be abundantly common but the ones on ebay look far more complex than what i require. Must be some sparks out there that can recommend a certain brand/product for what must be a common situation?

Open Question: How to insulate and plasterboard a slate roof?

Hi, I have an old end terraced house (1920) which has a slate angled roof. From inside I can see the slate tile (so no membrane down). I would like to insulate this and plasterboard this however I imagine I would need some membrane down first (which I would have to fix to the inside of the beams-instead of the usual of on top of the beam and then tile on top). I don;t want to re-tile my house but would like a simple solution to stop things falling into my attic and even tile this. How can I do this? If I added glass fiber insulation rolls between the slate on the foil would this not send it soggy when it rains?
