Open Question: what if the wires are TOO short?

i recently being replacing the receptacles in my house with newer, more economical ones. but now ive run into a problem, the ones in the kids bedroom wires (white and black) seem to be shorter than the ones in the living room and master bedroom. i can barely fit the new receptacle without pulling hard on the wires to connect. is there another way without having to break the sheetrock wall to connect them? its really a low-budget fixer upper and im afraid to go any further than what i intended to do. any ideas?

Open Question: Best oil for air compressor? (pump)?

The owners manual for my air compressor mentions oil change times, But says nothing about what type or weight of oil to use. Does air compressor pumps use a special oil, or do they use normal motor oil? Would they be any benefit's from using synthetic oils such as mobil-1 ? And what weight would I need? Any other info would be great! BTW: The pump is a single stage, 3-cyl pump. 5hp, 16.7 CFM @90psi (rated) Thanks for your time!
