Open Question: Need a dirt cheap solution to make or buy bookshelves?I need the cheapest possible way to get bookshelves for my huge book collection. I think the cheapest would be to make floating shelves but I'm not sure how much weight they can hold or how many of them I can get on the wall. Or if you know of a place that sells BIG bookshelves (already have plenty of small ones) for dirt-cheap please share! Thrift stores have em, but I cant find a big enough one or a set. Thanks! All great ideas keep em coming! Open Question: Adding a 220 outlet to a non-grounded subpanel?I need to add a 220 outlet in a small building. The small building gets electricity from a 60 amp 2-pole breaker at another building. The problem is that there are 2 hots and one neutral connecting the main panel to the sub panel (there is a disconnect switch between the 2 panels). Here is a pic of the sub panel http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z307/paulinkansas/DSC02803.jpg The 3 green wires on the disconnect box go back to the main panel. 2 of them to the 2-pole breaker, the 3rd goes to the neutral bar.
